The MiddleEssex Summer Softball League is a regional league that provides Billerica teams the opportunity to compete against teams registered with the MiddleEssex League . It offers players a chance to continue developing their skills in a more competitive environment over the summer.

The season runs from late June through early August, with the full schedule determined and published by the MiddleEssex League in June.

Registration typically takes place in May or early June, and the registration fee includes a team uniform shirt.

There are no tryouts for the MiddleEssex Summer Softball League. Any player who registers will be placed on a team, provided there is sufficient interest from other players and available coaching support.

BSA In-Town Summer Program Overview

The BSA in-town summer programs typically run two days a week, beginning in late June and continuing through the end of July. The final schedule, including specific dates and times, will be determined at the discretion of the Program Director.

This program is designed to help players develop their skills and deepen their understanding of the game. Each session will begin with focused skills and drills, followed by game-like playing time to apply what has been learned. As the program progresses, the time spent on game situations may be extended to better support player development.
